You cannot log in to MT5 using your MT4 credentials, and vice versa.
This is due to differences in the infrastructure and architecture of the two platforms. Although both are developed by MetaQuotes, they are not interchangeable.
If you wish to trade on both MT4 and MT5, you’ll need to create separate trading accounts—one for each platform.
You can do this easily by logging into your Client Portal, where you’ll find the option to open new accounts for the platform of your choice.
